My name is Deacon Ben Wanner. I am from the Diocese of Bismarck in western North Dakota. I come from a large Catholic family being the seventh of nine children (six boys and three girls). One of my older brothers is a Dominican with the Western Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus and one of my older sisters is also a religious with the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus in Minnesota. The rest of my siblings are either married or still in school. I joined the seminary right out of public high school in my hometown Mandan, ND to attend the St. John Vianney college seminary in St. Paul, MN. During my time there I had the wonderful opportunities to study a semester abroad in Rome and to do a two-week mission trip with the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, India. I am currently finishing my last year at Kenrick in St. Louis and am more than happy to serve you in whatever way I can throughout this academic year! Please continue to pray for me, and do not be afraid to get to know me and to help me in my formation in whatever way you can so that I become a good, holy, happy, and joyful Catholic priest!
Super Omnia Caritas, Rev. Mr. Benjamin Wanner Deacon of the Diocese of Bismarck
